About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch in Santa Clara, California, you will serve and safeguard clients in commercial real estate and other industries. At a commercial real estate location, you will monitor alarm and access-control activity, coordinate responses to security-related incidents, and communicate with site personnel, visitors, and emergency services. You will maintain accurate records, support a welcoming environment, and use technology to help operations run smoothly. The position includes customer service, dispatch communications, incident response, recordkeeping, and assigned property patrols.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on applicable state and local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and vendors by following site-specific procedures and security policies.
• Monitor dispatch communications, alarms, access-control activity, and service requests; prioritize and relay information to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Respond calmly to incidents, critical situations, and emergency-related calls, following established escalation and notification procedures.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, and shift activity reports, and communicate clearly with on-site personnel and management.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the property, building areas, and perimeter as assigned.
