About The Position

The Dispatch Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring premises and patrolling assigned locations. The role involves observing and reporting activities and incidents, preserving order, and enforcing client-site regulations and directives concerning personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. Officers may also provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. The posting states that no prior experience is necessary and that training is provided. Security positions are available full-time and part-time.

Requirements

Pass a hair follicle drug screen and the required drug screen and background check.
Have strong customer service skills.
Be able to complete patrols.
Have strong technology skills, including cell phone and computer use.
Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
Be able to sit, stand, and walk frequently for potentially long periods; duties may involve climbing stairs and walking on inclines or uneven terrain.
Be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Prior security or customer service experience is a plus.
Retail, food service, or hospitality experience is considered relevant.
