About The Position

The Dispatch Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring premises and patrolling locations. The role involves observing and reporting activities and incidents at an assigned client site, preserving order, and enforcing site regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the area. Officers may also provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. Training is provided for candidates new to the security industry.

Requirements

Pass a hair follicle drug screen and a background check.
Have strong customer service skills.
Be able to complete patrols.
Have strong technology skills, including using a cell phone and computer.
Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
Be able to perform frequent sitting, standing, and walking for potentially long periods; duties may involve climbing stairs and walking on inclines and uneven terrain.
Be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Prior security or customer service experience is a plus.
Retail, food service, or hospitality experience is considered a good fit.
