About The Position

The Dispatch Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring premises and patrolling assigned locations. The role observes and reports activities and incidents, preserves order, and enforces site regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. Officers may also provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. The schedule consists of 12-hour rotations from 5 p.m. to 5 a.m. The position pays $19.46 per hour, with weekly pay and opportunities for growth within the company. Dispatch experience is required. The employer provides training for those new to the security industry, and applicants must pass a drug screen and background check and meet applicable security licensing requirements.

Requirements

Dispatch experience.
Excellent customer service skills.
Pass a drug screen and background check.
Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
Frequent sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods; may include climbing stairs and walking on inclines and uneven terrain.
Frequent lifting or moving of up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting or moving of up to 25 pounds.
