About The Position

The Dispatch Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring premises and patrolling locations. The role includes observing and reporting activities and incidents at an assigned client site, protecting client property and personnel, preserving order, and enforcing site-specific regulations and directives concerning personnel, visitors, and the area. Officers may also provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. The posting lists a wage of $21.68 per hour. Security positions are available full-time and part-time. The employer provides training for people beginning a career in security. Applicants must pass a drug screen and background check and meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for security officers or guards.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Pass a drug screen and background check.
Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for security officers or guards.
Ability to frequently sit, stand, and walk for long periods; climb stairs; and walk on inclines and uneven terrain.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
