About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch in Madison, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A college degree is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities for a financial services location.
  • Monitor communication systems, alarms, cameras, and/or incoming calls to receive, prioritize, and relay information to on-site personnel, supervisors, and/or emergency responders as needed.
  • Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and sharing timely updates with appropriate contacts.
  • Maintain dispatch logs, activity reports, and other records related to incidents, visitor concerns, and/or operational issues in accordance with site procedures.
  • Help to support access control, after-hours inquiries, and/or coordination of security-related responses across the location while following established post orders and communication protocols.
