About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch in Lithia, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Dispatch Professional with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor activity, coordinate communications, and support timely responses to security-related concerns. Requirements

A guard card and/or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a chemical and petrochemical location.
Monitor communication systems, receive calls and alarm notifications, and dispatch appropriate personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner during routine operations and critical situations.
Document incidents, activity reports, and dispatch records with attention to detail to help support site operations, follow-up, and/or compliance-related needs.
Coordinate with on-site personnel, supervisors, and/or first responders regarding security-related concerns, access issues, unusual activity, and emergency situations.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, while remaining alert to conditions that could impact personnel, property, and/or operations.
