Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access support, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Monitor radio, phone, alarm, and/or dispatch systems to receive calls for service, prioritize incidents, and communicate security-related information to onsite personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Coordinate responses to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and/or operational concerns by dispatching the appropriate onsite resources and documenting activity in logs and reports.
- Track vehicle, visitor, and/or contractor activity entering and leaving the location, report unusual conditions, and help to deter unauthorized access through timely communication and follow-up.
- Conduct regular and random patrol coordination around the business and perimeter, maintain awareness of site conditions, and relay updates to personnel and site contacts as needed.
