About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch in Tanner, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

A guard card or license is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, communication support, and/or emergency response activities for a technology-focused location.
Monitor phones, radios, alarms, and/or digital communication systems to receive calls, document activity, and relay information to appropriate personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Coordinate the dispatch of personnel for incidents, service requests, and other security-related matters, helping to support timely responses across the location.
Maintain detailed logs, incident reports, and shift activity records, sharing updates with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, while remaining prepared to respond to incidents and critical situations.
