As a Security Officer Dispatch Specialist in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch professional supporting a financial institution location, where you will monitor activity, coordinate communications, and help address security-related concerns with professionalism and care. In this fast-paced role, you will remain visible through clear communication, support daily operations, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • The client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific procedures, dispatch protocols, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, radio traffic, and/or incoming calls, then communicate timely updates to on-site personnel and local contacts in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Document incidents, visitor activity, maintenance concerns, and/or unusual events in dispatch logs and reports according to site policies.
  • Coordinate routine and urgent communications between officers, client contacts, and/or emergency responders to help support security-related operations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while helping to direct resources where needed across the location.
