About The Position
The Dispatch Security Officer position at Securitas plays an essential role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients. Securitas' mission is to protect homes, workplaces, and communities by providing necessary security services. This role involves actively monitoring premises, patrolling various locations, preserving order, enforcing regulations and directives, and providing customer service to client employees and customers. Requirements
- Must be professional
- Comfortable and efficient using computers and technology
- Must have excellent Customer Service skills
- Must pass our drug screen and background check
- Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in dispatch and security is preferred
- Retail, food service or hospitality industry background
Responsibilities
- Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel
- Actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations
- Preserves order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area
- Provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers
