About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch professional supporting a financial institution location, where you will monitor systems, coordinate responses, and help address security-related incidents with strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will help maintain awareness of alarms, access activity, and site needs while working with a team that values being agile, reliable, and innovative, with a caring culture and integrity at the center of every interaction.

Requirements

  • The ability to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish is required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor communication systems, receive and relay routine and priority information, and coordinate the dispatch of security-related personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by documenting details, communicating updates to appropriate contacts, and supporting timely follow-up actions.
  • Conduct regular and random patrol coordination for the location and perimeter, while maintaining accurate activity logs, incident records, and other required reports.
