About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch in Sioux Falls, SD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

  • Have 1+ years of law enforcement experience, or 2+ years of security-related supervisor/manager experience, or 3+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • X-ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, answering calls, and supporting security-related communications from the dispatch station.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, radios, and other systems to identify unusual activity and coordinate timely responses to incidents, service requests, and emergency situations.
  • Dispatch personnel to locations as needed, relay critical information in a calm, problem-solving manner, and maintain clear communication with site contacts and first responders when appropriate.
  • Document incidents, calls for service, maintenance concerns, and other activity in logs and reports, helping to support accurate recordkeeping and follow-up.
  • Support regular and random patrol operations by tracking officer activity, communicating assignment updates, and helping to coordinate coverage across the location and perimeter.
