Security Officer - Dispatch Center - Overnight Hours

Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, dispatch protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare-related location.
- Monitor incoming calls, alarms, radio traffic, and/or service requests, and dispatch appropriate personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Respond to incidents, urgent requests, and critical situations by gathering details, documenting activity, and communicating updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Support access control and other security-related operations by maintaining dispatch logs, tracking routine and urgent activity, and helping to coordinate responses across the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
