About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch Operations in Lithia Springs, Georgia, you will serve and safeguard clients in a logistics and distribution setting. You will coordinate dispatch communications, monitor alarm and access control systems, support badge activity, and help maintain awareness of site operations. The role also involves providing customer service, documenting security-related activity, and communicating with teams and visitors. The position is full-time and pays $16.00 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Coordinate dispatch communications for inbound and outbound transportation activity, including documenting driver arrivals, departures, trailer movements, and access-related information.
• Monitor access points, vehicle gates, and dispatch communications to help support the orderly flow of personnel, vehicles, and freight throughout the distribution location.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts and document actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of dispatch areas, parking lots, docks, trailer yards, and the business perimeter.
