Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, calls for service, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while prioritizing communications and dispatch support.
  • Monitor communication channels, receive and document incoming requests, and dispatch personnel to priority locations based on site needs and established procedures.
  • Track incident details, maintain accurate activity logs, and relay timely updates to site leadership, officers, and/or emergency responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrol coordination around the business and perimeter, helping to support coverage across varied working environments and conditions.
