Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Monitor radio, phone, and electronic communications systems to receive calls for service, document activity, and dispatch personnel to security-related incidents, maintenance concerns, and other priority needs in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by gathering details, relaying accurate information to on-site personnel and/or emergency services, and preparing clear reports for follow-up.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned, noting unusual activity, helping to deter unauthorized access, and communicating observations to the appropriate contacts.
  • Maintain logs, incident records, and shift activity reports, and support coordination between site personnel, visitors, vendors, and management during routine operations and/or emergency situations.
