Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch professional at a healthcare location, where you will monitor activity, coordinate communications, and support timely responses to security-related needs. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and deliver outstanding customer service while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and guided by integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, dispatch protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Monitor phones, radios, alarms, and/or other communication systems, relay routine and urgent information, and coordinate the dispatch of personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Document incidents, service requests, and unusual activity in dispatch logs and/or electronic systems, escalating concerns to site leadership when appropriate.
  • Assist with monitoring access activity, after-hours calls, and/or delivery coordination, helping to support orderly operations and timely communication across the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as needed, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
