Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch Officer supporting a government transportation location, where you will coordinate field teams, track incidents, and manage radio and phone communications. You will monitor activity, document events, and help direct rapid responses while providing professional customer service to staff and visitors. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Operate dispatch functions including monitoring radio traffic and/or phone lines, receiving calls for service, gathering details, and dispatching personnel according to post orders and priorities.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, and access control systems as assigned, document observations, and report unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications with supervisors and/or public agency partners as directed.
  • Complete security-related reports and logs, maintain accurate incident documentation, and communicate shift updates during pass-downs.
