Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor communication systems, alarms, cameras, and other site technology to identify security-related concerns and dispatch personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Receive, prioritize, and document calls for service, incidents, and critical situations, relaying accurate information to site personnel, management, and/or emergency responders as needed.
  • Support incident reporting and recordkeeping by maintaining detailed logs, activity reports, and shift communications for a fast-paced technology-focused location.
  • Coordinate regular and random patrol activity around the business and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity while supporting site policies and response procedures.
