As a Security Officer Dispatch Console in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a government transportation location.
  • Monitor dispatch communications, phones, radios, alarms, and camera systems to receive calls for service, document activity, and coordinate the appropriate security-related response.
  • Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts, supervisors, and/or public agency partners when needed.
  • Maintain detailed logs, incident reports, and shift activity records, sharing timely updates with field personnel and leadership to support continuity of operations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned buildings, platforms, parking areas, and perimeter locations as needed, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
