As a Security Officer Dispatch Console in Maiden, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch professional in a dynamic tech and communications location, where you will monitor security-related systems, coordinate responses, support routine patrol activity, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor communication systems, receive calls for service, and dispatch security-related personnel to incidents, requests, and/or priority locations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Document incidents, radio traffic, visitor concerns, and/or unusual activity with clear and timely reporting to help support site operations and follow-up response.
  • Coordinate with on-site teams, supervisors, and/or local emergency responders during incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events.
  • Support regular and random patrol activity by tracking officer status, relaying assignment updates, and helping maintain awareness of business areas and perimeter conditions.
