As a Security Officer Dispatch Console in Norfolk, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, dispatch protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor communication channels, receive calls and reports, and coordinate the timely dispatch of personnel to incidents, service needs, and other security-related matters across the location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting key details and relaying updates to site contacts, field personnel, and/or management.
Support access control and after-hours activity by monitoring alarms, cameras, and other systems, helping to identify unusual activity and escalating concerns according to post orders.
Conduct regular and random patrol support through remote monitoring and status checks, helping to track coverage of the business and perimeter while maintaining accurate logs and reports.
