Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while following site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at a government transportation location.
  • Monitor radio, telephone, alarm, and/or camera activity; receive calls for service; and dispatch appropriate personnel in a calm, organized, problem-solving manner.
  • Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations by gathering details, documenting information, and communicating updates to site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Maintain detailed logs, incident reports, and other records related to daily activity, communications, and security-related concerns.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter as needed, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptions.
