As a Security Officer Dispatch in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch professional with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor activity, coordinate communications, and help support timely responses to security-related concerns. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a financial institution location.
  • Monitor communication systems, receive and route calls, alarms, and/or service requests, and dispatch appropriate personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Document incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical events with clear and timely reporting, while helping to support follow-up communication with site leadership and responders.
  • Coordinate responses to incidents, access-related concerns, and/or operational disruptions by maintaining situational awareness and relaying accurate information to the appropriate contacts.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned, recognizing that working environments and conditions may vary by location.
