Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Be able to lift up to 20 pounds, preferred.
  • Have access control and badge experience, preferred.
  • Have customer service experience, preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, managing incoming calls, and dispatching security-related personnel as appropriate for routine and emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner by receiving reports, documenting activity, and communicating updates to site personnel and supervisors.
  • Monitor communication systems, alarms, cameras, and other dispatch tools to help identify unusual activity and coordinate a timely security-related response throughout the healthcare location.
  • Maintain detailed logs, incident records, and shift activity reports, and/or relay important information between officers, client representatives, and emergency responders as needed.
  • Support regular and random patrol operations by tracking officer status, assigning coverage areas, and communicating priority calls for service around the business and perimeter.
