About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Corporate Patrol Observer in Stamford, Connecticut, serving a commercial real estate location. This is an unarmed patrol role focused on safeguarding the property, supporting tenants and visitors, and helping maintain a welcoming environment. The officer conducts routine patrols, maintains a visible presence, provides customer service, communicates clearly, and responds to concerns with integrity. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The pay rate is $19.00 per hour. Applicants must meet age and education requirements and are subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law. State or local licensing may be required before employment. A valid driver's license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific security procedures, property policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, common areas, access points, and perimeter locations, identifying and reporting unusual conditions.
Monitor property access and observe visitor and contractor activity; report unauthorized entry attempts or policy concerns according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notify appropriate personnel, and document activities as required.
Complete activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence.
