About The Position

As a part-time unarmed patrol security officer at a financial institution in Boston, Massachusetts, you will safeguard the client by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, supporting access control, and providing customer service and professional communication. You will follow security procedures and site-specific policies, respond to incidents and alarms, and document observations and unusual conditions. The role is scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Pay is $23.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least two years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the business interior, exterior, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and document observations, incidents, and unusual conditions in required reports.
Communicate professionally with site personnel, guests, and first responders.
