About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Officer for a logistics and distribution location in Fontana, California. The officer will help safeguard the site by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, and supporting a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and delivery personnel. The listed schedule is Monday 12:00 AM–8:30 AM, Wednesday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, and Thursday 10:00 PM–6:30 AM. Employees can use the company’s Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Monitor access points and verify visitor and driver authorization.
Maintain accurate logs for deliveries, trailers, and other site activity.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter.
Identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following site-specific protocols and communicating with appropriate personnel.
Document observations, incidents, and completed patrols in accordance with company and site requirements.
