About The Position

As a Security Officer Bilingual Dispatch in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch Security Professional with Allied Universal at a financial institution, you will coordinate security-related communications, monitor alarms and access activity, and dispatch resources in response to incidents. Requirements

  • Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish is required.
  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor incoming calls, alarms, and communications from financial institution locations, documenting and dispatching appropriate personnel in accordance with established procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating relevant information to site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, and activity records while handling sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Monitor access control, surveillance, and other security-related systems to help identify unusual activity and support timely response efforts.
