About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch Driver in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Dispatch Security Professional at a dynamic technology location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, support access control, and help maintain a secure environment. You will provide exceptional customer service, respond to security-related concerns, and work closely with site teams while using computer-based dispatch tools. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Monitor communication channels, alarms, cameras, and access-control notifications; receive calls and dispatch appropriate personnel for routine requests, incidents, and critical situations.
  • Maintain clear, accurate dispatch logs, incident records, shift activity reports, and communications with site leadership and responding teams.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established security-related protocols.
  • Coordinate with on-site personnel and emergency responders as needed to support timely communication, access, and incident response.
