About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Dispatch Driver Scheduler in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Dispatch Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will coordinate security-related communications, monitor systems, dispatch personnel, and maintain accurate incident documentation. Requirements

  • Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
  • Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Be able to lift up to 20 pounds, preferred.
  • Possess a Handcuffing Certification, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Monitor incoming calls, alarms, radio traffic, and electronic systems; document activity and dispatch appropriate personnel in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating communication with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, and other required records while handling sensitive operational information with discretion.
  • Support access control and visitor-management processes by verifying required information, communicating entry requirements, and reporting irregularities to site leadership.
