About The Position

Requirements

  • Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Handcuffing certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, dispatch protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Receive, prioritize, and dispatch calls, alarms, and service requests to appropriate personnel while maintaining clear communication with site contacts and responding units.
  • Monitor communications systems, document incidents and dispatch activity accurately, and prepare timely reports in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as directed.
  • Support access-control and visitor-management processes within a controlled aerospace and defense location, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
