As a Security Officer Armed Driver Security Clearance in Huntsville, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Possess an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, restricted areas, parking locations, and perimeter boundaries; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials and authorization, and document security-related observations and incidents.
• Support the protection of aerospace and defense operations by reporting unusual activity, maintaining accurate logs, and following applicable site requirements.
