As an Armed Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Handcuffing certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned facilities, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions and security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, helping to control entry to authorized areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and coordinate with appropriate site contacts and emergency responders.
• Complete accurate reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation related to patrols, incidents, and security-related activities.
