About The Position

As a Security Officer Incident Communications in Cumberland, RI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Dispatch Officer in a healthcare location, you will coordinate security-related communications, monitor alarm and surveillance systems, and dispatch personnel in response to incidents and requests. You will maintain accurate records, support timely information flow, and provide exceptional customer service to staff, visitors, and responders. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare-related location.
  • Monitor incoming calls, alarms, access-control notifications, and other communications; document incidents and dispatch appropriate personnel in accordance with site procedures.
  • Coordinate responses to incidents, critical situations, and service requests in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, maintaining communication with relevant site contacts and responding agencies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, and other required records, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the business and perimeter when assigned, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
