About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Asset Protection to support a chemical and petrochemical location in Alvin, Texas. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible security presence, and provide customer service and communication while conducting routine site activities. The role follows a daytime schedule on Thursday and Friday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The pay rate is $16.50 per hour.

Requirements

Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following site protocols and notification procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, production-adjacent areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
Monitor location access, verify credentials as required, maintain visitor and vehicle entry records, and report unauthorized access attempts.
Accurately document incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
