About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer to support a logistics and distribution location in Tampa, Florida. The officer will conduct routine and random patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide professional customer service and clear communication. The role involves carrying out site-specific security procedures and policies, responding to incidents and critical situations, and accurately reporting observations and activity. The stated schedule is Thursday through Sunday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The pay rate is $16.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements imposed by applicable state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and effectively to incidents, package-related concerns, access issues, and critical situations, following site procedures and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, employee entrances, and the facility perimeter.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site policies, and help deter unauthorized entry or suspicious activity.
Accurately document observations, incidents, and patrol activity, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
