About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Alarm Event Triage in Cumberland, Rhode Island, serving a healthcare location. The officer coordinates security-related communications, monitors alarm activity, dispatches personnel to support timely responses, maintains clear records, communicates professionally with staff and visitors, and helps promote a welcoming environment. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at $20.55 per hour.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing requirements may apply and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Alarm panel experience.
CPR certification.
Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff by following site-specific procedures and policies and carrying out emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
Monitor dispatch communications, receive and document service requests, and coordinate appropriate responses from on-site personnel and/or emergency services.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach, maintaining clear communication with relevant personnel.
Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and dispatch records according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
