About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer - Access Monitor in Seneca, South Carolina, at a technology-focused campus. This is a driving, unarmed security post serving employees, visitors, and contractors. The officer helps maintain a welcoming and orderly environment through customer service, communication, patrols, access monitoring, and appropriate emergency response. The position pays $17.50 per hour and is scheduled for 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM on Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
A valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts or emergency personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
Identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation.
Communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
