About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer - External Monitor in Mesa, Arizona, serving a technology, media, and telecommunications location. The role involves routine foot and vehicle patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring access activity, responding to incidents, and providing customer service. This is a driving position and requires a valid driver’s license under Allied Universal policy. The listed schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, at a pay rate of $24.72 per hour.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, parking areas, perimeter, and exterior grounds to identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards.
Monitor access points and observe entry and exit activity, assisting with visitor, contractor, and vendor procedures.
Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrols, observations, and security-related activities using required reporting systems.
