About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Monitor in Scottsdale, Arizona, you will serve and safeguard clients at a healthcare location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and alarm response. You will provide customer service to patients, visitors, employees, and vendors, communicate professionally with staff, and help contribute to a caring environment. This is a part-time position scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, paying $17.01 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience.
CPR certification.
Access control and badge experience.
A guard card or license.
Alarm panel experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, employees, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations, following established site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including interior areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Prepare clear and accurate incident reports and communicate professionally with healthcare personnel and emergency responders as needed.
