About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Secure Entry Monitor in Wilmer, Texas, at a manufacturing and industrial location. The officer helps manage site entry, monitor access points, verify credentials, and provide a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. The role uses computer or tablet systems, clear communication, and professional responses to security-related concerns. The position pays $19.54 per hour and is scheduled Thursdays and Fridays from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience.
CPR/First Aid certification.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific access control procedures and policies and, when appropriate, carrying out emergency response activities.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and control entry and exit according to site requirements.
Respond calmly to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations, and promptly communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Accurately document observations, incidents, and access-control activities and complete required reports according to Allied Universal and site procedures.
