You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support security-related procedures while providing outstanding customer service and communication. Through routine patrols and a visible presence, you will help to deter incidents and contribute to a caring, reliable team that values agility, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor registration, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas through established security-related protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including entrances, loading areas, and perimeter points, noting unusual activity and reporting security-related concerns.
  • Maintain accurate logs, access records, and incident reports while supporting daily operations with professional communication and attention to site procedures.
