As a Security Officer Access Driver in Oklahoma City, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support site access procedures while providing outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. At Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents through visibility, teamwork, reliability, and integrity in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and document authorized access in accordance with post orders and security-related protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, delivery issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the building, yard, gate areas, and perimeter, remaining aware of changing conditions involving vehicle traffic, trailers, and pedestrian activity.
  • Prepare clear reports of daily activity, access-related events, and unusual incidents to help support operational awareness and follow-up.
