As a Security Officer Access Screening Driver in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic logistics and distribution location as an Access Control Officer, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, authorize access for approved personnel and/or deliveries, and maintain visitor and vehicle logs in support of security-related operations.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including entrances, loading areas, trailer yards, and perimeter points, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access, report unusual activity, and document daily observations, incidents, and security-related concerns according to post orders and site procedures.
