About The Position

Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support daily operations through visible presence, routine activity, and strong communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific access procedures, screening protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate for a food and beverage location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, maintain access records, and report unusual activity or access concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with professionalism, communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, production-adjacent spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter, as conditions at the location may vary.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by observing for policy violations, documenting security-related incidents, and assisting with crowd, visitor, and/or delivery traffic control as needed.
