About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Access Control Systems Operator in Gibbstown, New Jersey, at a manufacturing and industrial location. The role safeguards clients and supports a secure, welcoming environment by monitoring entry points, managing visitor and employee access, remaining visible to deter security-related incidents, and providing professional customer service. The schedule is Friday and Saturday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The pay rate is $17.50 per hour.

The officer carries out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities; monitors credentials and access records; observes deliveries and restricted areas; responds calmly to incidents; and conducts patrols. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required prior to employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, vendors, and employees while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access logs according to site procedures.
• Observe deliveries, shipping and receiving activity, and restricted areas to support controlled access at the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and communicate observations to appropriate site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and the perimeter.
