About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Control Compliance in Irving, Texas, you will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and drivers. You will support a secure environment through attentive observation, clear reporting, and customer service while demonstrating Allied Universal’s values.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures and site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and delivery records.
Inspect inbound and outbound traffic according to site procedures to deter unauthorized access and support the orderly flow of deliveries and shipments.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter.
