About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer for access control and patrol at a logistics and distribution location in Lancaster, Texas. The officer will help safeguard the client by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, supporting access control, communicating professionally with employees and visitors, and providing customer service. The role follows site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities. The schedule is Tuesday and Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and Friday from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The pay rate is $18.62 per hour.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations, and may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience.
CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

Carry out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities while providing customer service.
Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in accordance with established site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe the movement of personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries according to site requirements.
Document incidents, observations, and unusual activity, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
